Within the area of Lipinki Forest District there are also forests managed by other owners.

According to the Act on Forests, the State Forests are obliged to provide advice and support to private forest owners with regards to execution of forest management.

State forests managed by Lipinki Forest District Inspectorate cover the area of 23 302.99 ha whereas forests not owned by the State Treasury cover 323.24 ha, including 266.06 ha of forests owned by natural persons and 57.18 ha owned by legal persons.

Persons responsible for issues related to non-state forests are officers appointed by Żary and Żagań district offices.
