Lipinki Forest District is located in the south-western part of Lubuskie Province and borders on Germany. Lipinki Forest District is one of 20 Forest Districts managed by Regional Directorate of the State Forests in Zielona Góra.
It is located within the boundaries of two Forest Natural Areas of the mixed forests zone: Greater Poland-Pomeranian (Wielkopolsko-Pomorska) and Silesian (Śląska). The Forest District is located within the area of Middle Polish Glaciation, in Mazovia-Podlasie Stadial.
In terms of geomorphology Lipinki Forest District is located within the area of Silesian-Lusatian Lowlands and Middle-Polish Lowlands.
