Forest Management
Forest economy of the State Forests is executed in accordance with forest management plans prepared for Forest District Inspectorates every 10 years. The plans are drawn up for the State Forests by special units, such as the Bureau for Forest Management and Geodesy (BULiGL). Following public consultations, forest management plans are approved by a decision of Minister of the Environment.
The plan is drawn up after detailed stocktaking and forest assessment.Foresters assess such elements of forest condition as structure, constitution, age, species composition, state of health, soil types and habitats etc.
Forest management plan includes:

description of forests and lands designed for forestation,

analysis of forest economy executed in the previous period,

wildlife conservation programme,

tasks connected with acquiring of timber, forestation and restocking, maintenance and protection of forests, hunting and creating of forest infrastructure (buildings, roads).
Current Forest Management Plan for Lipinki Forest District is valid for the period from 2010 to 2019 and can be found in Public Information Bulletin.
